Google is the best place to work. Its employees are pampered with free food, massages, sleep pods, free laundry services, play areas, on campus mobility, and access to the best resources. Naturally, everyone in the tech world dreams of working there. But you have to be very, very smart to work at Google. Can you do complex math in your head? Do you have a PhD? So Google wants only propeller heads, right?
At least that’s what I saw in the movie titled “The Internship” last weekend.
Apparently, Google is also looking for other qualities such as social and interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, teamwork and collaboration.
I quote a review from IMDb:
Two salesmen whose careers have been torpedoed by the digital age find their way into a coveted internship at Google, where they must compete with a group of young, tech-savvy geniuses for a shot at employment.
Now go watch the film, and see what it’s like to work at Google.
Do you make the cut?
